We had one in Colorado a few years back that was started by a ranger burning love letters from her ex-boyfriend (despite the fire ban and high risk). She went to jail. The worst fire, however, is in the neighbour island of Gran Canaria and it was started by a forest ranger whose contract was about to expire. It's all a shame, because our quite proud of our natural environment and its value is incalculable. I don't remember where you are in Canarias but I think I heard there are fires right now. That's too hot! I grew up in a town that regularly reaches 120 degrees F in the summer. Way too hot. Funny coincidence! I knew nothing about the Mohans when I saw the ad in the latest issue of Spanish Yoga Journal. I've bought all the issues so far and I seriously considered attending the Sivananda teacher training that is taking place in Aragon in September. I didn't know much about Sivananda Yoga but it looked like a nice place to start. Still, I wasn't 100% satisfied with the idea, as it involved spending one month there and, despite the course being cheaper than the Mohans', I had to add plane tickets and accomodation and it was too much. When I finished reading the <a href="http://yogatenerife.com/pdf/MOHANS_%202007_YogaTrainingProgram_en.pdf" rel="nofollow">programme</a> of the Mohans' course, I was instantly attracted to the approach and the aspects covered. The more I think about it, the luckier I feel to have the opportunity to learn from such experienced teachers.
